What do you think about these Company LOGOs?

Question

A company logo often defines a company, and makes the company easily recognized. As a result, most companies strive for an interesting and memorable logo, especially one that matches modern thinking.

Some people find these two company logos to be problematic, saying that each is suggestive of something usually done in private.

Clearly, simplicity was the goal of these logos, but it backfired. The arrangement of the shapes in both designs inadvertently conveys a sexual message. First impressions count, even if they are innocent. Instead of conveying ambiguity or shame, a logo should convey professionalism, clarity, and relevance. Considering visual associations when redesigning would be very beneficial.

Define problem. We all know sex sells. Some people won't see it (very few... stop laughing). Either the business owner had a sense of humor and the graphics guy did the job right, or the graphics guy is a bit silly and the owner went with it. Either way humor was involved. I like humor.

The logo of the dental office is generic.  I've seen those already.  The pharmacy logo is amusing.  I don't have a problem with either of 'em.  I actually like 'em both.

They are both suggestive but the condemnation should come in the form of these businesses losing their patrons.

Both are terrible. Both logos create an unintentional (I would hope) piece of iconology. The type faces are simplistic, and the different typefaces on each don't relate well to each other. Even one typeface with multiple variations to create the logotype would have been less bad.
