For me, it's the NE Patriots for football or the SA Spurs for basketball, which I don't watch as often. So what team or player does it for you?

Going to training camp practice next weekend, and maybe Wednesday for a joint practice with the Commanders (TERRIBLE rebranding name choice🤦‍♂️), Drake Maye vs Jayden Daniels, should be fun. Hopefully Drake can become my favorite player. Kid has all the arm talent in the world. I legit made my own gif of one of his crossbody, off-platform, rolling to his bad side with porous pass protection throw because it was so dang impressive to me. Wasn’t an 80 years TD or anything, but just a great first-down-plus completion for 25 yards or so….

Allow me to nerd out for a second to this…the feel for the pressure while keeping his eyes downfield, the agile escape, and again, rolling out to his off-side, making a cross-body off-platform throw, has the body control to square up to his receiver while making a running and jumping pass, finds an open man amidst the chaos and adjustments, sends a MISSILE, dead nuts to his receiver in stride. That is just… 😘🤌 RARE arm talent and execution.

I’m trying to think who my favorite player is, across all sports. I’ve been on the Shohei Ohtani hype train since it left the station, he’s so good for baseball, yet MLB will find a way to not capitalize, lmao🤦‍♂️

Top-tier pitcher, and even better at the plate. Hits baseballs to Jupiter. Kid is a stud, absolutely electric. Baseball seems like it’s on life support, yet one of the most exciting players to ever play the game is right here, right now. That’s crazy to me. Get your attention span up and watch a ballgame for Chrissakes! What the hell happened to Americans that we can’t wait out 20 seconds or whatever for a pitch🙄🤦‍♂️

Been a fan of the Minnesota Vikings since I was a kid. Major oddity since I was born in Dallas, but I absolutely despise the Cowboys (it's a Jerry Jone thang).
MInor fan of the Mavs and Rangers, Nowitzki was and remains a class act, BUT I follow the Dallas Stars more closely now than anyone else, the 99 Stanley Cup championship was the best.
Fun fact, since you're a Spurs fan, were you aware that they began life as an ABA team called the Dallas Chaparrals?

When I used to watch NFL football, I liked the Giants, but I quit watching back when Eli Manning retired.

I used to watch tennis years ago and liked watching Roger Federrer, Raphael Nadal, and a few others that I can't think of at this moment.

I like watching women's soccer more recently and like Real Madrid (Favorite players are Sheila Garcia, Olga Carmona, Athenea Del Castillo, Alba Redondo) Arsenal (favorites are Mariona, Russo, and Blackstenius) and Barcelona (favorites are Ona Batlle, Aitana Bonmatti, and Patri Guijarro). I got interested partly from playing FC 25 which was my first year playing FUT mode. So I guess I am a Real Arselona fan for that. :)

Dead serious here... the only sport I ever watched enough to have a favourite player... was Snooker. And it might have been slightly intended ironically, but I always cheered for John Parrott back in the day. Totally ordinary snooker bloke. He wasn't on the same level as Ronnie O'Sullivan nor Stephen Hendry, but he seemed more relatable. I expect basically nobody outside the UK would even know who he is.

I like Arsenal and I used to like the Warriors but I'm kinda getting bored with Basketball tbh. And I'm watching Shohei play Baseball rooting for him. But I'm not a lifelong fan of a team. I watch sports just for the entertainment. I can get joy from a good sports moment without being a fan of that team for my whole life. I just wanna watch whatever player or team is the most captivating to me at that moment.

If I consider any place on this planet home it’s Boston. And I’m a football fan. So the Pats are my home team but they have truly sucked since the Brady / Belichick era ended.

I still follow the Buccaneers after Brady’s retirement. And Buffalo is a great team these days. Sorta feel bad for them after 19 years of domination by the Patriots.

As for basketball, I’m a Celtics fan.

I don’t really follow hockey or baseball. Not a college sports fan.
