I am rooting for the Red Sox.

I don't like the Yankees. In the 90's when teams really lost their abilities to keep intact rosters and free agency went wild and the Yankees just started buying other teams best players every year (Giambi, Mussina, Clemons, Damon... e. tc.) and when their farm system/draft talent got old they'd just go buy another teams top player and restock and they were in the top of the division every year, I really grew to hate the Yankees.

The A;s had 2 dynasties, 1 in the 70's, 1 in the late 80's early 90's, there was the Big Red Machine Reds in the 70's the Kansas City Royals with George Brett and Willie Wilson and others made a few World Series and were always good in the 80's. The Pirates were loaded and won World Series with Dave Parker and Bill Madlock. Now these cities are "SMALL MARKETS" and they usually suck every year. The moment they get a good player some other franchise immediately comes and buys them away.

I grew up as a Mets fan so liking the Yankees isn't in the cards., and I have family who live in the Boston area. Besides, how can you favor a new Yankee Stadium (with fewer seats than the classic original) over the tradition of Fenway Park?

I went to a Yankees game in 2008 , the last year of the old Yankee Stadium. It was pretty amazing.
