What would you do if two nhl sport teams you like are going against each other?

i wanted to get into hockey a little, maybe go to a game once a year or watch some plays, not be a die-hard. living in virginia, the closest team is the washington capitals. i wasn’t super into them until i found out about alex ovechkin, “the great eight”. then there’s the san jose sharks, popular but supposedly “the worst team” i like them too and thought the vibes were great? i and already asked my family if we could go to a sharks game—they said yes. then i checked washington’s schedule and realized the capitals and sharks are playing each other. now i’m confused. which team do i pick? what do i wear—colors of one, both, or something neutral? where do i sit? i literally know nothing about hockey.

Wear the colors of the home team. You should try not to sit behind the goal, other than that anything is okay. The closer to the glass the better but you should see just fine in most places. It will be fun,.
