What physical games did you play growing up?

I played soccer and won the Mayor's cup as a midfielder. I did some Karate as a little kid. I played a couple years of basketball, but it was really boring. I think my team got like 3rd place in the league. I played hockey and street hockey and won the league championship two years and got second place in the final another year, but there were some fucked calls by the ref. We should have won that year, but I think the ref was paid off by the opposing team's parents. I wrested freestyle, folkstyle, and greco roman and was a state champion with a create of medals and trophies. Lots of winning... I cross trained in judo while active in wrestling and did some boxing and wing chun. I played golf with my brother and dad for fun on weekends. I generally shot like 3 or 4 under par of most course ratings but nothing special. I surfed and body boarded at the beach. I did knee-board and wake boarding. I went fishing a lot. I ran marathons. I finished a number of races in time, but I'm not an Olympic class half horse man that's going to win those races. I started weight lifting at like 11 years old. I played a lot of other sports, just on a neighborhood, school level, or in summer camp outside of organized sports (e. g. football, baseball, kickball, racquetball, tennis, handball, archery, shooting, break dancing, mountain biking, bmx, ice skating, roller skating, hunting, hiking, tetherball, etc.).

Softball, swimming, volleyball, tennis, basketball, ballet, lots and lots of bicycling and roller skating, and I was a high school cheerleader. 😁 Oh yeah, canoeing and white water rafting for a few years too.

Non competitive: a few other things like diving (diving boards), hang gliding, and I dabbled with scuba diving. I was terrible at running, but I liked it and did it for exercise.

I tried track, but never made it over a single hurdle and was always one of the last to finish.
