The next World Cup the opening matches will be played in Argentina, Uruguay & Paraguay. Messi will be 43. I don't expect to start and play full time, but I think they should at least put him on for a few minutes in Argentina's opening match, so he can be the first player to play in 7 world cups

I hope so. They can do like they did with Memo Ochoa in this World Cup where they only brought him out the last 15 minutes. As a matter of fact, I hope Cristiano Ronaldo will do so as well since it will take place in Portugal too but so far he has said this was his last World Cup.

No. If he's playing in the next Argentina will be in bad shape. No player is bigger than the team though he played well this year but his team mates let him down with their antics

I'm sure he can plod along in the MLS for a few years, maybe tale to a space in the squad. Bigger question is if he would deserve the spot. Have they no next generation coming through?
