Has anyone actually seen a real grandmaster teach knife vs bayonet combat?

This is my Grand Master teaching Knife vs Bayonet fighting in the Marine Corps a little over 30 years ago.

It's basically a two-step disarm of the rifle and bayonet, but he's only actually showing the first step to the recruits in this video.

The guy with the Bayonet is actually at a speed disadvantage, due to the weight of the rifle and the fact your arm actually has slightly more reach with the knife than the barrel length for the rifle.

We had a guy from the Royal Marines teaching us knife defence and how to use a knife in combat. We'd basic bayonet training but the SA80 isn't suited to it like the Lee Enfield or the old SLR

The guy with the gun is assumed to be in a situation where he has either ran out of ammo or the rifle has misfired and jammed. obviously, if he had ammo in a real situation, then Advincula would have been "dead" in the exercise.
