Why do BJJ practitioners keep attacking my karate/JJJ rank and experience?

First of all, I trained 15 hours per week in the gym in karate and JJJ and SOME BJJ for 6.5 years in total. Around 1.5 years of this was from early 1992 through late 1993. Then another 5 years was from 1996 through 2001. I obtained First Kyu in early 2000, and then failed my karate and jjj black belt test 6 consecutive times due to Sunsu Kata being the most confusing thing on Earth. But my original karate sensei was heavily cross-trained in BJJ and taught us BJJ about 10% of the total time in the Gym.

Fast forward to 2016, I joined the Gracie United BJJ gym in Hammond, LA for about 1.5 additional years, and the instructor originally allowed me to wear my karate and JJJ brown belt to class, because he figured I was "different, but equal to a BJJ brown belt," based on my prior training. This was CORRECT, because i tapped out his black belts slightly more often than not by using a combination of JJJ and BJJ techniques I already knew.

I never claimed to earn a BJJ brown belt "the long way" because I was already ranked in a different but equal style of martial arts.

For some reason, BJJ cultists on multiple apps online keep spreading lies about me claiming that I claimed to get a BJJ brown belt in 1.5 years. That was clearly never stated by me. So I actually have 8 years full-time martial arts instruction in both striking and grappling styles. I have another 2 months training at the Dana White's UFC gym in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

I never claimed to have gotten a BJJ brown belt nor equivalent training in just 1.5 years. I was training FULL TIME for 6.5 years early in life, then another 1.5 years later in life.

the stupid cultists keep trying to discredit me, but I know what I know and I never made a false or misleading claim. I also have documentation (bank statements) of making my school fees at Gracie United, but for some reason the Professor's assistant instructors like to LIE and claim I didn't make payments.

Know nothing about it. But yeah BJJ is a cult especially Gracie jujitsu guys. We trained/spared with them back in my judo days. It always had to be on their terms, every fight had to start on the ground for some reason.
We trained/spared with some college wrestlers and I got to say very strong, very fast, very fit and some of their moves if done in a real street fight on concrete my God the damage that would do.

I don't worry about folks who question my rank or ability. Yes at 70 my kicks aren't what they once were. But I still try to avoid a fight if I can, just too much legal hassle

You did not tap out any black belts. You are overweight, out of shape, have a vastly exaggerated notion of your own abilities.

You were not allowed to wear your JJJ / Karate brown belt, no self-respecting BJJ instructor would do that.

This happened in 2016, which is already ten years ago now.

I had two strokes in 2013 and was already experiencing 50% numbness and probably 25% weakness in both feet and the left hand by then.

I didn't tell those clowns about my medical problems, because frankly it was none of their business. I tapped Michael twice with the front wrist lock using my right hand vs his left hand while I was grounded and in Guard position. I tapped him a third time using the Disarmer while he was grounded in kneeling position and I was standing.

I tapped Nunzio TWICE using MMA banned techniques which i won't describe here, but both times I tapped him basically one-handed using my right hand.

THEY DID NOT KNOW about my medical problems, and they were not holding back.

And yes, RAPHAEL DEFINITELY HAD ME WEAR BOTH MY KARATE GI AND MY KARATE AND JJJ BROWN BELT TO CLASS. NOT ONLY WOULD I SWEAR TO GOD BY THAT, BUT I'D GIVE THAT SAME OATH IN A COURT OF LAW IF NECESSARY, WHICH THIS MIGHT WELL BE GOING THAT WAY.

If we were in a court of law, under the 3rd and 4th amendment of the US constitution, I would have a right to KNOW who you are and face you in a court of law, because you are slandering me falsely.

You are suffering from serious mental issues, you talk like you’re the greatest fighter to ever walk the earth, yet your average child BJJ practitioner would choke you out.

Online BJJ culture can be brutally tribal, especially toward non-BJJ ranks. 🚩

Many BJJ folks view rank as strictly time-on-mat in that one system. So when someone says “brown belt in karate/JJJ and I tap BJJ black belts,” they feel you’re disrespecting their hierarchy, even if you’re not claiming BJJ rank. Ego, insecurity and gym politics fuel that.

You know your training history. Let your skills speak, ignore online cultists, and protect your receipts only if something serious comes up. 💪
