Ehm I dunno if I've had this experience tbh. But I have had the experience of being good at something in the past and thinking I could do it and then I sucked at it. Like table tennis and climbing are the biggest ones I think. Well I'm not terrible at climbing but compared to how good I was as a kid I am terrible now. And table tennis I used to be good and now I'm a complete beginner again.
Maybe canoeing?

For me it was surfing 🏄♀️
I’m super confident on a tennis court, so I assumed board sports would come naturally. First time I tried surfing, I could barely even stand up. Constant wipeouts, swallowing half the ocean, zero balance. Looked way cooler in my head than in reality. Massive respect for surfers now 😅
