I'll quickly cover the biggest points in this video
1. Honey tells consumers you'll get the best coupon but actually the business get's to decide what kind of discount you get. That's how they get sold on participating. So their ads are a complete lie but the investigation was dropped.
2. They also steal from influencers by highjacking the affiliate link if you click any button on the honey extension even if they don't have any coupons to offer and you click got it they will highjack the sale and take the commission that would have gone to the youtuber that you clicked the link from.
3. They even steal from the business that you're buying from sometimes that's hinted at the end but it hasn't been fully explained yet so I don't know the facts.
Honey is estimated to be worth around 4 Billion dollars and is owned by Paypal atm.
It's crazy how every single thing that's advertised on youtube seems to be a scam and then it's usually youtubers that expose the scam. I really should never use anything that has been advertised on youtube.
Ok that was it have a nice day :)
