Did you think black panther sucked?

I mean I get the let's be more racially diverse but the movie sucked, it wasn't diverse it was just black people and it was racist towards white people (take the scene where the guy calls the other one colonizer over and over). I'm all for a movie where it's actually diverse but this one was just racist. You can't tear down other races to make yours better

Nope. I liked it. And I'm not even black!
But then again, I'm used to not seeing any representation of my race in a movie - and yet I can still enjoy a movie.

Oh, by the way, there was one very white man in Black Panther ;)

There were no mass protests around the world against Friends, Seinfeld, Arrested Development, How I Met You Your Mother, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and a hundred other shows that were all-white cast only :)

But suddenly one movie that features a black-majority and people like Asker goes batshit crazy ;) Interesting how that works, innit?

Overall I liked it. Im not sure if thr incorrect use of "colonizer" was on purpose or not. They're were characters in it that were racist, but I didn't feel like that was the overriding theme of the movie. Nearly all black cat doesn't bother me in a black nation. Just like Luke Cage, why would an all black cast be a problem in a black neighborhood? It just makes sense.

It was an awesome movie and everyone was black because they were in a black country for the majority of the movie. Also, it was hardly racist towards white people. The main antagonist had some racist undertones but the main cast was against it.

Hate to sound like a jerk, but, this is a good time to get over yourself.

That said, I never watched it and I think it's over hyped even though I've not watched it.

I thought you were going to actually make criticisms against the movie, but no I don't think the movie "lacked diversity and was racist." I do think it's overrated though, wasn't a fan of Killmonger personally.

No, I'm not saying that. I'm saying if we want everyone to be equal then equal representation should be had. I don't think it's okay for all white shows or all black. And the fact that there's little shows of all Asian or all Japanese is even worse. Representation should be equal for everyone

That's completely missing the context of the movie, it takes place in a fictional African country. Forcing representation where it doesn't make sense is a bit silly
