Sometimes I’ve received Facebook notifications (showing the numbered red icon), but when I opened the app itself, the notification disappears as though it never actually existed. I’ve often suspected it was someone liking my most recent post accidentally in their newsfeed (hence the alert) before swiftly undoing it (hence the cancellation of said notification)
How do you accidentally like a post?
I though that liking posts and commenting on them was something you were supposed to do on there!
I’m guessing it was on a page of someone you aren’t friends with.
Yes they will get a notifcation and see it & if you deleted it right away, tell click on it and nothing will pop up for them like your profile!
Yeah they'll be notified, but if she refreshes her page it won't be on there anymore

If you like and unlike there'll still be a notification generated that you liked it.

Wouldn't it just be easier to get rid of the damn thing?
They do get notified, but if you unlike it, then nothing will appear when they click on the notification. They do get notified though.
