If a person you like , who knows you like them, reacts to post on Facebook that are specifically about your family could that mean something?

Say for example they heart your birthday post dedicated to your mom or your post/video of your child taking their first steps etc could they just be being friendly? or could they genuinely care about things like that that are going on in your life?

Most likely just being friendly but it could be more, it’s hard to say.. For example, I’m a chronic liker on Facebook haha.. I don’t follow silly rules about what, when, why to like stuff. If I see it, chances are I’m liking it. Some people however, follow specific rules about when and why to like stuff and to them, it would mean you are interested in the person.. Pay attention to that persons liking habits and it will give you more details.

no, he could just be scrolling mindlessly. I tend to like or heart a friends' post out of consideration not because I like their content. you can never tell what a person is genuinely feeling when it comes to online.
