It's a tool for syncing things like wifi passwords and the like across multiple devices, your version is out of date its now called reincubate relay

Not much really, it's a way of side stepping the need for doing an IOS backup to sync.. It's also cross platform so it works on windows and mac

asrelay is a tool for Windows and macOS computers to relay data for consumption through the ricloud APIs. It can efficiently and securely stream data through asmaster.

Ok, so I just looked it up for you, if you didn't install it.. then someone manually installed from using your phone (maybe family/friends)

One of the uses for this program is a "Child Monitoring Program".. Parents may do this to view all of your photos, texts, conversations, files, etc. Which are then backed to to the cloud.

Now, this is my best assumption of why this app is on your phone, as this app can't be a virus over-the-air or by something you've downloaded as this only is installed by you or someone else manually having an intention of doing so...

Unless someone/your intentions are Only for backing up data in you ever lose your files, then someone is monitoring you, whether boyfriend, parents, siblings, coworkers, etc.

Read the above links of the website I was researching.. I'm very knowledgeable at this stuff.. my parents gave up trying when I was only 12 hehe. If there's a "Device Administer" block from trying to uninstall, then lmk and I may be able to help you there too

Well, I actually created a trial account to check that out for you..

So, Actually yes they can.. That monitoring program is web-based, which means that any device that they can use the internet on is how they use can monitor by logging in to the Dashboard

And I believe that it's only on Android and Apple/IOS mobile devices.. I'm pretty sure to monitor on the computer, that's only for backing up files, photos, etc. Which I'm pretty sure is the Main use for Asrelay

I'm pretty sure that they can only monitor your phone, so not laptop since Asrelay is an app and not a computer file.

But they can monitor your phone from any device if they're even monitoring it at all

Yea.. Found it pretty quick; It sounds like it's synced via your iCloud/iTunes. I don't use much of iPhone, but it monitoring is the case then it sounds like they can install it on your PC, link that up to your iTunes account so wherever you login with that particular account on whether it be on mobile or PC, then they have info synced:

Yes that's what it seems.. My best advice despite the PMs I sent you, is to just factory reset your entire iPhone and set it up with a entirely freshly new iCloud/iTunes so it can't sync up to it

You can even backup any important files you may have in a random Drive like DropBox before doing the reset.

Maybe the "asrelay" program was installed by accident, but to he on the safe side.. I recommend doing what I just said above, it can't hurt
