From picture you posted I'd say samsung s10+ because you're getting best features for lesser price than apple iphone. Huawei after usa china trade ban is not a good option. If mobile needs to be budget friendly and yet have best features look for oneplus devices. So i arranged best smartphones based on price categories oneplus > samsung > apple. Samsung also has budget mobiles latest ones like a51, a80 are also good options. Or apple xr is also affordable option for apple lovers. Getting phones from big and reputable brands is good because they provide good aftersales services like repairs and such.

Performance and speed? OnePlus 7T Pro
Features? Samsung Galaxy S10+
Not breaking the bank? Motorolas and Nokias

My personal favorite so far is still my Note 9. My only issue with it is the size, it's a bit small. Lol

if you had asked this a year ago I would have said Samsung. But after my latest model almost caught fire and came with super cheap materials I really got annoyed and decided to look for something better.
My current phone is a Xiaomi, with which I am very satisfied, especially with the quality/price ratio.
It was a bit hard to adjust at first and give up some things that had become a second nature, but now I am glad I did this change.
So for me, it's Xiaomi.

Want a phone that you don't mind updating more but want a premium high end device Samsung
Want innovation get one of the Chinese brands

there is no such thing in my opinion. it's like they build a harsh dealbreaker in every one of them that makes it a total turn off in some way... it's like they don't want to make the perfect phone. it would easily be possible.

There is no best phone. I do miss Windows Phone / Windows 10 mobile some times. It was a great OS that had a lot of potential, but Microsoft didn't treat it right.
