Can they see my browsing HISTORY with duck duck go?

I use a Wi-Fi service where certain sites are blocked. Will they see my searches about shit I duck duck go or will it be blocked foe them.

Enterprise worker reporting in: The short answer is yes. If someone wants to find out bad enough, it is possible with effort and time. That said I doubt throwing flags for searches at a WiFi hotspot is anything to worry about for the average person.

With most search related filter software it is logging a MACHINES identity and nothing about the human behind the keyboard. Make sure you're using HTTPS:// to access DuckDuckGo and your traffic is encrypted up to a point, we can see you are using DuckDuckGo but not what you are actually doing on it. Once you click a link and leave DuckDuckGo you traffic is at the mercy of the owner of that particular website you accessed. Your ISP can see everything..
You need 3 things secure
1) Browser
2) Encryption
3) VPN

My suggestion is go with EPIC privacy Browser it has all 3 functions..
It's chrome based..
Has encryption and has VPN

Or with duck duck go.. Get a VPN.

TOR is best but you won't be able to see porn in it..

Even those are be traced. It is virtually private but nothing is 100% private. There are experienced hackers who can find out what you've done on a VPN.

Your ISP (internet service provider) may be able to see what you look up, they will definitely be able to see what website you visit, and depending on what browser you use (like Chrome), they will be able to see what websites you visit. Duck Duck Go, however, does not keep any of your data. But your ISP, browser, may see what you're doing. But if you use a VPN and a trusted browser (like FireFox), they wouldn't be able to see.

Use a VPN and they can't see your searches. I can't imagine using a provider that blocks sites.

If they use any kind of professional router.. Any kind at all, yeah they can see everything you do..

Routers don't do that. applications do. A router will see the device its mac/ip address, but not the traffic of an internet browser. However, if they use something like WIRESHARK, which is an app that tracks/scans internet traffic and ports, then best believe they see which site you go to.

Lol apparently you don't understand enterprise class routers.. I'm SonicWall certified.. They track EVERYTHING. They also do gateway anti-virus, and a number of other things like content filtering and the like.. Any router that has some kind of content filtering will be able to pull browser history.. Not the ones you pull from say Walmart, cause let's face it those things are little more than smart switches.. But sonic wall, sophos xg.. And other professional grade routers track everything..

I work for an MSP for example.. We deploy exclusively SonicWalls. Every month we send GMS reports to our clients that contain a detailed list of every single site every single user has gone to..

It's always why I push people to vpn's when connecting to things like what she is connected to.. Never trust anyone.. Period..
