This article below pisses me off lol. I hate texting. I know people have their phones on them 24/7 but it is so much slower to try and get a response from someone electronically versus in person. And because of all these fucking phones, people don't know how to converse in person anymore!

When a girl routinely takes a day to respond, she's telling you you're very low on her priority list.
When it's hours, and this is a routine, she's playing games and wants to frustrate you to get an emotional reaction, i'd cut off this type of girl.
When it's mixed, minutes, 10mins, 30mins, hours then she's responding to you when she sees the message and can respond. I met a girl who really liked reading my texts to the point she'd reply quick every time and even turn up on the snapchat viewing screen as im writing and leave quick 😂😂
I learnt from her that a girl who likes you will always respond quite quickly to you, because she's super excited to read your message and wants you to know that.

I agree it's 6months at best with the girl i met and just texting about our common interests and occasional pics.
Before that, a girl i knew began a loving friendship by video calling for about 2yrs, before that we shared a avatar based game. Visually extends the excitement for sure. We fell in love after 2yrs.

Technology aside, for a moment, you know what one of the problems is today? That it's way, way too easy for any [idiot] to put an opinion, theory, 'unproven 'fact', hair brain scheme of an idea up as an 'article' on the internet (often for clickbait, or because they're out of any good ideas, have no journalism training, have a deadline, a quota, yada yada) and thus we have all these stupid articles promoting something that ethically, morally just shouldn't be. And her trying to preface it that's it's not a manipulation, a tactic, just makes it more annoying. And how about phrases like, "I'm not biased, but...", "I'm not generalizing, but..." "I'm not saying 'all', but why do all?" That's really lousy writing. And thinking, and they try to pretend it's not.

Anyhoo... no, waiting for a reply doesn't make me want someone more.
And I'll take the two marshmallows later, not the one marshmallow now (the infamous university study of children and impulse control. Or the adult study about $2 later, or $1 today. Take your pick.)
