It isn't a good idea though. Because texting every day won't last. One or both of you won't be able to always text everyday. You'll feel a sense of loss and a void in your life once the texting either stops or is less frequent. I'm speaking from experience

A guy and me used to text all day , everyday. I felt so excited when I heard a message from him. It made me so happy inside.

Eventually, he only started texting me once a day. I felt like he was pulling away. I asked him if he was ghosting me, but he said he wasn't. He was just tired of being on his phone all the time. Gradually , he'd text less and less. I still hear from him, but it's probably once a month

It probably sounds silly to say but I felt like I was grieving when he stopped texting. I miss him so much. When people text all day, I don't think it's evidence of how much they like you or how often they think of you. I believe they're only passing time.

I still miss his texts a lot.. Especially his random ones when he got home after a night out. I feel choked up now thinking about it. I suppose it's because I have feelings for him though

Everyday? No. Every second, minute, hour? Yes. I just need a good morning and good night text. Other than that i dont care to text as much. I prefer phone calls mainly before work or after 10p

Depends what's being said. It also depends on the guy. Odds are he's going to send you some clues when you're smothering.
