99.9999999% of us take pictures of friends, places, things we want to remember. Is your phone good enough or do you have a separate camera that you will carry around day-to-day or on holiday?

Considering the sheer amount of data a smartphone tries (and usually succeeds) to collect about you, the idea of using it to store pictures that are in any way sensitive strikes me as madness. A common madness, these days, but madness nonetheless. My digital camera works just fine.

I have a travel camera that is 15 years old which has an “electronic” zoom lens and small side-grip to make it easy to hold and take pictures with one hand.

I have an SLR camera with multiple lenses that I take on vacations and such. Haven't done much photography in a long while, though.

I mainly use my phone for fotography but I also own an instax mini.

I give you credit for the Instax since you get something physical from it vs. just a bunch of bit that live on you phone. I shoot Polaroid's.

This is the only camera I use, it’s a Canon 80D, it’s a few years old & still takes beautiful pictures.

I have my phone and also a nice DSLR with multiple lenses I shoot with. The phone is always great in a snap, but you cannot beat the DSLR for clarity. Plus, its much easier to conceal questionable photos on a separate flash card so they don’t just pop up in your feed on the phone.

The SLR boat may have sailed with mirrorless taking over. Have you considered film? You can often find a full kit for $100USD at charity shops.

I've got a Canon EOS M3 mirrorless camera as well as a Canon AE-1 Program film camera from the early 1980s. I don't like to cut corners and simply do what's most convenient.

Yes, but it's old and not very good. I don't even know why we still have it. 😂 it's from like 2006 yet my mother still calls it the "good camera."

I have some film cameras from the 1960's and 70's that are still pretty awesome, provided you have the patience and desire to work with film.

I have a Pentax 645 that's heavy and a Bronica ETR that I have to handle with great care. I stayed away from Hasselblad as I didn't want to keep buying shutters to go with my lenses.

It is, I like it more than the Pentax but it’s so temperamental that I can’t use it for ‘working’ projects (weddings, etc…).

It needs an overhaul but nobody will touch them as they are so old. The film winder sometimes binds up and its got power issues for the meter -- I have to use an external meter..

I've shot a few weddings on my D750, FM and a medium format Pentax. Its hands down better than my iPhone Pro.

I have a real camera due ti the fact most the things I photograph will kill you if you get too close... Zoom is a safe feature.
