When you send a regular selfie or picture of yourself do you expect them to tell you how attractive/unattractive you look?

Yes when i send a selfie i usually hope they tell me if i look attractive or not

Not necessarily im just happy to receive any feedback back on how i look

No i just want them to see with no expectation on their part for comments or anything

I never send selfies ever but if someone sends me theirs ill tell them the truth of how i think they look

I very rarely send selfies. But when I do it's usually just for the other person. I don't expect any reply or comment back. The few times I've sent one that I wanted them to comment on how I look, I just ask something like 'what do you think?'

I feel that selfies force the other person to comment on them and I don't trust that it's a genuine compliment. Like to me, it seems like they are only being nice. But then again I have a hard time with accepting compliments and they make me uncomfortable so it could just be me.

I've learned not to take it personally. Especially depending on what you're sending. The first picture I sent and then got ghosted sort of hurt, then I realized I didn't care because if I was confident enough to not need anyone's approval or criticism.
