You have to be directly connected to your modem for that speed test to be anywhere near accurate. If your on wifi like I am the test does not reflect true results. The best way to check your speed using speed test. com is to connect a laptop directly to the modem with a short Ethernet cord. My internet is fed directly to my modem by fiber optics so I do know it's pretty fast.

  Yes it most likely is but you just don't get an accurate reading when using the speed test with WiFi. You could be faster or slower then the reading it gives.

  The speed tests aren't accurate here anyway lol. Mines fast but they usually ping to a specific tower, but it's not the same tower that gets used

  When I use it I can select the tower or station that I want to use from a list of about twelve.

With my computer connected to the modem via a 30ft ethernet cord & my sister and nephew streaming things on their devices, mine says:

• 60.5
Mbps download

• 10.6
Mbps upload

• Latency: 17 ms
