Everything I have on my phone is already on my computer, so I don't care about the data. Or about the phone itself because of the incompetent Chinese programmers of Xiaomi. If the phone is stolen, I wouldn't care much for two reasons:
1. When locked, the phone is just a paper weight for whoever has it. It's locked with a complex password that only I know, so the thief will suck my "you know what".
2. I'm gonna buy a smartphone with linux very soon precisely because of the morons from Xiaomi who keep bugging the phone and making it a lot worse than when I bought it. On top of that you can't disable updates, you can't uninstall unwanted apps, basically you have 0 control over your own device. That's why I'm gonna buy a smartphone with linux on which I can install my favorite Arch linux and the Chinese digital dictators will suck my "you know what".
