I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max and am planning to buy a flip phone. I don't particularly enjoy keeping up with the times or generations. I appreciate living the way I want to without the pressures of society and sophisticated technology.

I do miss a full QWERTY keyboard from my LG Cosmos...
I don't think I could go back to such a small screen though!
Prepaid smart phones are a thing, and yeah, I've used them when travelling since the rest of the world doesn't seem to use the same protocols as we do in the USA. Quality is pretty bad, but they can be used as MP3 players afterwards :D

As for me Iβm currently rolling with a flip phone & itβs reliable, rugged, submergible & so much more. In the past Iβve had smart phones & to be honest I hate them & I hated that you had to charge them all the time & I hated being connected all the time as well.
A phone is a phone. I receive my phone for free from work anyway. I would certainly never pay for one.
Nikki you are a goddess
I use a Doro non-smart phone. It caters for my needs. Phone calls, texts, has a cam and FM radio.
Absolutely! Thats all you need these days

Yes. We have them here in my country, they're colloquially called "Allo Allo" because unlike smart phones, it's pretty much only for phone calls. Not even Whatsapp.
I've joked about getting one. And having my android only for YouTube.
I did use a "flip phone" till 2020 or so, lol
Bruh they still buying them lol I just seen the reviews on different sites too
yes, they're still quite useful, and I still have two, I just don't use them the same anymore
If I could afford it, I'd EASILY go back to a normal house phone!! Cells are shit!! My girlfriend keeps calling me and when I answer, there's no one there!! BOTH of us are getting REALLY pissed at this shit!! It's wasting LOADS of her money!! And because of limitations, I can't call her!! Regular phone bills are nearly $100 a month, now!! The only good thing about this cell is that it's free!!
No, not me at least. A multi functional pocket computer with cameras that is also a phone is versatile and indespensable to me.
It's not me wasting time on dumb things like social media, news and most content on YouTube and Netflix, its about converting imperial and metric units, getting directions, translate text, capture Photos an videos, having access to my email and finance apps and so much more.
I have always personally used a Pre-Paid Sim so I can change phone as I needed, normally a Motarola Clamshell of one model or another as I've found them to tough reliable phones, and I still have one today.
For work I used one supplied by my employer that is a smartphone, but I do not use it much it is mainly them calling me.
Main reason I have a smart phone is porn access tbh
π±β¦.
No, there are too many things I wouldn't want to give up, like having a map and GPS if I ever don't know where I'm going.
Man the world's ATM's, payphones and internet cafes have all been ripped out because smart phones 🤳🏻📱 - those days will never come back, I retired my last dumb phone in late 2019 📞
Or early 2020 - one or the other lol π π€³π»π±
Replacement - that's the game man, technology comes, technology goes, ππ« π
I have a prepaid phone that's looks like a smart phone, but I'm paying $30 a month
I have the same phone as you, and Siri does everything for me.
No, not interested in a dumbphone.
I respect that
I'm thinking about it. Take the old fashioned one around with me and leave the smart phone at home in the draw.
If I did not need it for multi factor authentication I would got back to my flip phone.
Given the prices of the new ones i wouldn't mind really
No way. I control my world in the palm of my hand. It's funny as I was late to get one.
Late how? Genuinely asking ,ππ±ππ
Only Trump's inner cabal used those in the days leading to J6
I have an old flip phone. I can call or text any where in Canada. What more do I need.
No way. But we do keep a landline for backup and emergencies.
I hate those phones cause it's hard to type different letters.
Nope. I don't see how having a modern cellphone pressure?
Only if the matter involved crime
Lmaoooo trap phones
Not as basic as the one you posted.
land line yes
So many people have those
No. Slow and old
Life used to be simple
We didnβt need question ans answers. We knew the answer already
If anything, i would prefer a flip phone.
I only buy prepaid phones
Fuck no
I used to think about buying a BlackBerry
No way I'd go back
Ugh gotta go back to less stress
PROBABLY NOT
Exactly, too many things require an app now - after all, I've grown to the times - if you asked me in 2019 I was still clinging my dumb phone - not anymore ππ π hooray for apps for everything, almost - like magic
So hooray smartphones π±π
