With companies spending billions of dollars harvesting your data and keeping you hook to your phone would you switch a more minimalist. With kids unable to focus and absorb information for more than 4 mins. Employers making it mandatory to have an on your smartphone. Companies spendings billions of dollars on figuring out new strategies to keep you glued to your smartphone. People's attention span dropping significantly.

Even people who are investing and banking on their smartphone have their data collected so companies can see what you have stocks in and can manipulate the market so they can take your money away from you. Trackers, personalized ads, big tech hate algorithms brainwashing people and making them stupider and more apathetic, crazy and violent.

Would you get a Dumbphone or a single use devices in 2024?

If we actually care about people probing us we'd just vote better people in to office. BUT brown skin sheep farmers from another country are just too scary for some to sleep comfortably, and so they steal everyones information just in case.

I mostly use phones to make phone calls and text but one feature I do want. Sat nav is highly useful when you need it.

But would you switch to save your attention span or protect your kids by buying them Dumbphones and protecting them from cocomelon.

You realize you can pick what is allowed on a regular smartphone, right?

But when a kid goes to school and meets other kids who know how to bypass these restrictions (which it does happen a lot) and now the kid ends using the deep web and talk to perverts online and they grooming them without your knowledge what then? And there is content on those devices that is advertised to be safe for kids, but it really has creepy stuff in it.

A lot of predators play Minecraft and Roblox and go to places where they know a lot kids are going to be, and they find new ways to manipulate them all the time. So just blocking is not enough sometimes. It doesn't matter if you block it there will be some other who kid at school who will unblock it.
