It would be an adjustment at first…. but in a way, that’s a life I dream of. I’m old enough to remember being able to interact with humanity on your own terms, and you weren’t expected to contactable at all times.

As far as other functions…. I’d just have to get used to only watching YouTube and such at home, and using an mp3 player again for music.

Unfortunately now many jobs require you use your phone to clock in including the one I have now so nope I couldn't.

Oh I had a job where you had to clock in using the desktop. It's really about the same. You have to be on location to clock in. You can't be down the street or in your home to clock in. They can track it, I think.

Yeah well, thing is my company is kind of like a college campus. Somewhat gated, has multiple buildings. Etc.

Parking is sometimes a bitch. There are times it takes me 10 mins just to reach my desk to punch in, that’s technically 10 mins of time I lose all because I cannot punch in by scanning my badge at a gate or something. I don't know I might be wrong on this, but I feel the time it takes me to walk to my building should count.

Afterall… they have been doing a fuck load of construction this year, lots of vendors taking up parking spots. Plus they have also been converting a crap ton of parking spots to EV parking spots smh

I'm practically doing it, now! And for the past 5 years! I lost use of the house phones 5 years ago and I almost never turn the cell phone on. I mostly only make one call per month to pay a bill and keep the free use of the phone active.
