How would your life be without Smartphone?

I would have much more time on my hands to play guitar and piano and do art. But i would have no means of communication with ny family which will be lonely. Smartphones really are like an evil we cannot forego. Social media especially has made mairraiges fail due to easy access. But I am on the opposite side of the continent to my mom and I talk to her everyday with whatsapp video call. I do think smartphones are dumbing the children down. I was 12 when i got my first phone and it wa sonly to listen to music. Now children have phones when they are born and watch strange videos and stuff, however some parents do not allow this which is cool. Children will never know the freedom we had to just play in the dirt

I've been there, it is great in a way that i had much less toxic thoughts, could process at a much higher level instead of just sweeping it under the carpet. I completed more TODOs in my life than before. Try to turn your phone into black-and-white which will make you less tempted to fidget with your phone when you don't need it.

There used to be public telephones you paid a quarter to use. To look something up you had to visit a library. You could purchase maps from gas stations to plot your trips. You actually got the newspaper.

Cell phones while convenient have also contributed to massive job loss.

I do use my smartphone the less possible, but I do use it for very important things, like my work, my friends and my family

as well as emergencies, so... it would not be ideal at all to just get rid off it like that... lol

I don't use smart phone apps, I don't need gps to know where I'm going, and smart phone games suck.

I also don't spend much time using a phone, and I don't bring it in the bathroom either.

I also don't go out much, I don't text while driving, and I don't go to church.

Not a problem, I store little on the one I have ATM, certainly nothing sensitive. When I travel I use an old Motorola V3 flip phone or a Defy Pro depending on the job, if its indoor the V3, If its outdoors then the Defy Pro as its ruggidised and both have a longer battery life than the smartphone.

Cuz I spend a-lot of time online. Just not when I’m doing something else. Also, why take pics of a game or concert? They’ll be shitty and there's a phtographers there already…

My life is on my phone lol, I don’t mean I spend my whole life on it. But it’s got my GPS, it’s got my phone numbers and contacts, my alarm clocks. Everything is conveniently at my fingertips. It makes life easier.

i would be fine without it. i need it for phone calls with work basically being on call other then that i would be fine, i can listen to music with a stereo or radio etc

depends. if sms were still as expensive as they used to be back in the day, i'd text people way less. but if i had a sms flatrate, nothing would change.

If everyone didn't have smart phone my life would be better. But since people have smart phone I can't live without it either. Unless I can save enough money to create a cave bunker.
