Be honest.
I could only do that during a holiday, as I need my smartphone for professional reasons.
What about you?

I do that all the time. My phone is mostly switched off for the greatest part of the day and the entire night as well.
I don't own a smartphone but a cell phone that I solely use to call my family. It is a 20 year old 3rd. Hand phone where you have to type each letter a number of times to get to the right letter.
No color screen, only basic email and nothing fancy.
I don't have the feeling that I am missing out on anything but glad that I have a way to contact my family when I need to.
I don’t think that would be a good idea bc im in a LTR and turning off the phone cuts off 💯 communication.
in other ways, i could, but I don’t want to.
news, music, history discovery, translation, research, reading. Emergency contact, grocery shopping, classes, long distance friends, I don’t see the venue in going without my phone. I am living in a ridiculously isolated area.. when I move back to a busy city, I will likely use it less but certainly not cut it off.
But you can still communicate with your partner using a computer? Though honestly I'm not sure if the question is about smartphones or internet access itself
@Maybe_Maybe_not The use of smartphones implies internet access. The question is about dependability on a device we could stop using for a few hours or even days.
Yes, at almost any time. I fairly regularly leave the house and leave my phone behind. The most challenging part is not knowing the time when i’m outside of my vehicle.
Do you mean cut off from smartphone only, or cut off from any devices going online, tablet, laptops etc?

I could because almost everything that comes on my phone I swipe it off my phone anyway.
I would lose my DUOLINGO streak for Spanish!!!
I can turn my phone off for days, and it makes no difference for me.
Yes. I did it for a whole summer.
It is. But I survived and I was much happier for it.
Sure I don't even take it on holiday
No I couldn't
