Good question. On the whole, probably yes. Online porn and video games have been devastating for large numbers of men. The first exploits the evolutionarily hard-wired drive for sex and the second exploits the need for validation through hunting and competition that is the basis for male social hierarchy. Social media exploits evolutionarily hard-wired ways of getting validation by the female social hierarchy and has generally been negative for women (increased incidents of self-harm in teen girls, etc.). To the extent the elite are able to herd most people into centralizes platforms and censor unwelcome (they call it “harmful”) opinions and algorithmically amp up the opinions they want people to see, the Internet can be a powerful tool for manufacturing consent.
On the other hand, the amount of information at one’s fingertips is nice to have and the difficulty of controlling discourse (unregulated, off-brand platforms spring up faster than they can be destroyed) is a serious threat to an incompetent or selfish elite.
I think there are ways the Internet could be made better. One would be to ban secret internet protocols. Companies could own protocols, but would not have a monopoly over user interfaces. Independent apps would spring up that could access the big tech internet protocols. The competition would allow for a better user experience, allow the users to find the kind of content moderation or freedom from it that they want, and decrease advertising to minimal levels. The best apps would be able to charge a fee for use.
Since pornography is directly, and indirectly ubiquitous throughout all of social media, absolutely. Prior to the advent of the internet, pornagraphy was exiled to specific, seedy areas of downtown. Now, the genre's out of the bottle. Pornography is everywhere, influencing the direction, and the evolution of the moral characteristics of our society. Intimacy is no longer regarded as a very private expression of deep love, and respect for your partner. It's been thrust into the public limelight. Sex is no longer regarded as a sincere form of love. It is now a public experience surrounded by a macabre, carnival atmosphere. Who knows how it will morph, or what it will morph into.
Gees I hope not... I describe gag as a blogging site to friends or family who ask... In a way I do actually see it as a blogging I mean we are writing we're asking questions and we're answering them it's a little more entertaining than just a blog but regardless I wouldn't see gag as an evil
No. Not in the way you mean. It’s just a bunch of people trying to get attention in their own unique way.
In what way you think I mean it?
I don’t think any greater powers are at play. It’s a human created and run playground. .

Yes online safety is important as i can imagine this is what you are referring to.

She doesn’t explain why she is sometimes 😅
It becomes a blessing and a curse. The curse is things pop up that you don't need to see or do. It allows you to do research on subjects that you unable to get into.
No. The internet is just an entity without conscience. Think of it like a retarded kid with a gun. The kid is too stupid to be evil intended. But he can still do a lot of unintended damage with that gun.
No. There is evil in everything these days. It's not just one thing
the internet as it stands is not compatible with a free society, it will destroy itself
i suppose that makes it evil
