How easy is it for you to come up with a new username?

Whenever you sign up for a new website/app that requires a username, how long does it take you to come up with one that isn't already taken?

Somehow, almost every username I come up with is "already taken", so it always takes me a while to come up with a username.

It takes me forever because from some unknown and overthought reason… I care. I don’t want to care, I just do. I think I would just get frustrated if I saw my username one day and thought “what idiot came up with th-… oh, shoot” I also like making a username that means something to me or related to me. I guess that’s why I care. I don’t want it to be any random, “meaningless” name.

I think the problem is more with passwords because sites have different criteria. Still searching for a universal password that meets all the diverse requirements sites have. Inevitably after devising one with caps special characters and number you will come across a bastard site that wants it to be two characters longer

It hardly ever takes me a long time to come up with a username because the names that I pick all the time are both rare and less typical; which is why I normally don't have to deal with not being able to use a name because it's already taken! The vaguest names are the ones that either nobody or not many people use. Plus I like to be different and stick out in the crowd!

"Sour rose" came easily due to some bullshi i dealt on a chatting app. My previous name was a joke because I'm an oddball but sour rose came as I'm usually pretty and loving on the inside, but sour, mean and will probably make you feel like shi on the outside without any remose. :)

Bella, sometimes I get it on the first try and sometimes I don't. When I don't get it at first, sometimes adding a string of numbers (hopefully short) sometimes works.

I use the same username everywhere but sometimes the website doesn't accept. Once, when I had to create a microsoft account so that I can use my phone (I had a Lumia 532 back then), the website didn't accept the username I wanted and it kept refusing everything I entered, so I got mad and wrote "datiebamaikata" which in my language means "f*ck your mother" and the website accepted that. 🤣

If I’m trying to come up with one, I have trouble. This one that I have now, I already knew I wanted. I have another idea for a username but I think if I deactivate, this will be the end of my gag usership.

Pretty easy since I usually use a variation of the same kind and if i do want to branch out it is easy to recall a term or word that speaks to me to represent what i want for that profile the username belongs to.

I've got the pseudonim Freya (Freja) in bow shooting team but in I have no chance in online games or social media to use this name. It's easier with Mara or Mora, my real name is a derivative from it.

keep entering it - up to 20 times - and you may get lucky.
