Would you say being good in IT and having lock smiths skills a real respectable talent?

I've always been good with my hands and have some lock smith talents and I've also been really good in IT. Dont know if that is brag worthy though. Not that I would go around bragging about it but maybe if someone asks me what I am good at if I should mention those things. I make money out of working in IT as well.

As an IT director in a large company, also do some consulting work for companies like Yale and their new "smart lock" systems.

The talent pool is getting more and more shallow, hence why work is getting more and more outsourced.

The West is screwing itself by placing less value in physical work, and more in virtual and design work.
