An e-mail sent by a stranger?

I got an email from a stranger. At first, I thought it was spam, but there was a picture of me and my friend chatting in the park attached to the email. Is there a way to identify the sender of the mail?

Sounds like a psycho stalker. Possibly someone you know. I would probably take it to the police. There is a non-emergency number you can call to talk to a dispatcher and they can advise you what to do next.

At first, I thought it was my friend's prank, but after that, I was still getting e-mails several times, so I wondered who it was.

Probably just a prank or spoof.

But could be a spot of spearfishing too.

I hope so 😓 I think the sender was close to me because the content I was talking to my friend was written in the email.

Wow that's kind of scary and weird they have to know you because they had your email address so I don't know if it's a stranger I think it might be somebody playing a trick on you

Change your email address and maybe only tell one or two people first don't tell anybody and see what happens but in order for somebody to get your email address you had to tell them or a friend told them so you can kind of do some detective work that'd be very careful
