I saw this wanker on breakfast morning tv talking about buying pillows from thrift stores and putting appliques (stickers) on them to make them look fancy (gay)

So I looked it up on google & gave it a 1

Like a year later an old friend/acquaintance contacts and begins criticizing me for giving his friends business a bad review. I’m like wtf you talking about? Look the place up there he is on webpage talking about all his life he wanted to be a seamstress lol.

I didn’t know he was there but I changed the review anyways. One friend down. Lol.

I really do! I give them a fair review usually and sometimes post pictures of the place as well. I recently did a review of our waffle house here and gave them 5 stars for treating us like the guest of honor and such.. I mean probably should have expected it being the only ones there but it was nice.

I used to do it more often but one day I got a notification that said your review reached a thousand views and I felt so exposed that I deleted them 🤣. I usually either praised a restaurant or completely hated it. It's not like I was getting a reply to my Google reviews I knew they were up for people to see I just didn't expect so many people to actually see them. So I don't do it so often now.

I dont go out of my way to , sometimes if the place asks me to do and I think they tried hard I will , or if its crazy bad I will give 3 star , its not something I focus on.

no. i think google reviews are pointless. people basically only use them if they have an outstandingly good or a particularly bad experience. google reviews don't reflect the quality of a service that you can expect.
