How come you don’t get many views on Facebook story if it’s not a picture of yourself?

I’ve noticed that if I put a picture of myself on my Facebook story or a picture with me in it, I get loads of views.

and then if I put a picture of something else completely random then I don’t get many views. Why is that?

just the way people use that site , they want to see what there friends are doing , not as interested in other stuff i guess
