Device for phones apps?

We let our kid play some games on our old phone, offline. Is there a particular device/tablet that will allow her to play the same android Google Play games, or will just a normal Kindle fire suffice?

i wouldn't get a kindle fire, cause installing apps on there is a pain in the ass.

there's parental control apps, that let you permanently disable wifi access and you can just remove the sm card so it has no mobile connection either. if you wanna be extra sure, you can block the device ip in your home wifi router settings.

Buy a Chromebook in fact the question before yours is suggesting a rather decent one.
