Every for-profit corporation exists for the purpose of making a profit and while they may have other goals, making a profit for their investors should be their primary goal. Every new product released is done so for the purpose of earning profits.

I'm happy with my android which has all of the "new features" that Apple just came out with... But has had them for years. Additionally I refuse to support a company what would want to see people who repair their devices thrown in prison.

All iPhones and other Apple products were made to make money. That's how companies work.

And I don't have an iPhone so I don't know.

probably but I still have a flip phone and it's funny to watch people touch the screen as if it was a touchscreen.
