+1 yGoogle Pixel 4a. My favorite part is that I still get free unlimited storage in Google Photos.
Will probably get a new phone in a year. Battery is getting bad.

The phone itself? Pretty good. Almost no bloatware. Easy navigation. I think the interface in Android 12 is better than 13. Want a bigger screen though. It's only 5.8". Most modern phones are 6.5" on average.
- +1 y
Yes, big screens are nice. How is the battery life?
- +1 y
@Guardian45 The battery capacity is only 3,140mAh. Modern phones are 5,000. I've had it since November, 2020 so it's not as good now.
- +1 y
But has battery life been a hindrance for your usage?
- +1 y
@Guardian45 Eh, not really. I don't use my phone much outside of home. But sometimes I do return home with 20 - 30% battery remaining with not much usage. And I don't have a place to charge it at work. So I need to be careful with my usage.

Battery Life has ALWAYS been important to me as I am a HEAVY user.

What model? How do you like it?

@Guardian45 I have a Galaxy S20 FE. I really like it. It's the best phone I've ever owned. It's got a good amount of storage, runs smoothly, and the fingerprint biometric system is great. The biometrics let me sign into more sensitive apps (like bank apps) without having to input a pin or password every time. Samsung pay is also good, because you can use it at a lot of stores that don't even have tap-to-pay (it can emulate a magnetic swipe card), though newer Samsungs are phasing that out starting with the S21 model.

Yes, that was a good phone.

I'm guessing by that remark you have a newer model?

Gotcha. I've heard good things about that model.

Personally I miss my Note 6. It had a removable battery and NO bloatware
- +1 y
I definitely miss the removable battery. I personally don't really notice bloatware most of the time though.
I have a Xaomi Redmi 10. Chinese Android company

@Guardian45 It's very basic, which is all that I need, but it lacks a few features that I'd like to have. For example, it doesn't have a clipboard that retains more than your last copy. You have to download a separate keyboard to do that. The split screen is a huge pain in the ass to use. Little things. However, it was cheap, only $10 a month compared to $35 for a Samsung. I don't like iPhones.

Interesting! Thank you

@Guardian45 ... fantastic. I can get a whole day out of it using phone, various apps, and a decent amount of YouTube time too. If it was just texting and things like airline/hotel apps, and email, I could probably get two days out of it.
And the camera is to die for as is the software behind it. A 50mp tri-camera set up.
