I think so. Because there are quite a few other platforms way more toxic and weird than GAG... Example Given;
Quora
Yahoo answers (does not exist anymore)
Lipstick alley
Etc etc

GAG- I'm still unsure about it, I don't come on here too often. I never talked to anyone here either hardly. Main reason being I'm overall not a great conversationalist. Bonus no one has really spoken to me.
Reddit- I got no problem with it, I love some of the Reddit pages, especially for Far Cry games, Mass Effect games, Dragon Age games, Studio Ghibli, and GTA games. Like here, I never talked to anyone on Reddit.
Quora- It became too much for me, from getting mass reported to harrassment. I've been gone from there for two to three years now, and I don't plan on going back. The only positive thing is I met a good friend from the U. K., and now we've been friends for three years. Even send gifts and care packages to each other.
Yahoo answers, never used it.
Lipstick Alley, never even heard of it.
I only know reddit from a youtuber who comments some am I the asshole questions from reddit lol
Quora I only know from some google searches but never really had much to do with it
Yahoo... that still exists?
I don't know any other, so I can't really tell if GaG is better or not but it's at least the only platform I have an account soooo
Yahoo Answers do not exist anymore because i once went there and i could not access the questions there
Ohh okay haha
I'm not sure how this website ranks comparatively speaking, but it's not terrible.
That's pretty much the best you're going to get out of me.
This site is pretty liberal and allows some modicum of free speech. I remember getting banned on a forum with a small group of friends for speaking out against the covid madness. That never happened here.
However, the website has become more puritanical, and there does appear to be more censorship, of late. However, it's within the realms of being tolerable. People talk about being offended. Well, I find it offensive when you delete my opinion. My opinion is valid and important, even if it's not what you want to hear. Even if I'm not at my best. I still stand by what I write, with all my human frailties.
Yahoo answers is where I came from before I ended up here. Like 8 years ago now. (fucking lame I know, but I'm off and on depending on life happenings)
Yeah, I've seen way more toxic. I like to troll around on 4chan's /pol so you can probably guess just how toxic I could get. I watch dismemberment videos everyday... ain't no thang to me. This place is not toxic at all... it's my safe space where people don't call me a fa**ot or a n****r as much and keep telling me to kill myself. I still get called names though... not recently though... so g@g could do better... it's like it's not even trying to hurt my feelings anymore.
Tell me about this lipstick ally... I think I might want to troll there.
It's for black women i think lol or black people in general
Aweeeee Sheeeeeeiiiiit. I'm gonna have to pick up some fried chicken and watermelon and give that site a try with my alter ego... gay black woman. 😂
Lmao hahaha good luck with that

For sure, it's definitely one of the most lenient. Yahoo would pernamately ban you after just two violations. I got banned from Yahoo Answers like three times.
Quora is biased against certain users. I kept having posts taken down that didn't even violate the guidelines.
Reddit is confusing and some of the people on there are rude. And they seem strict from what I heard. I got pernamately banned from an entire section, after just one violation.
Never heard of Lipstick Alley or etc etc
@Mamasanma that's what I heard, but I haven't had very many issued with Reddit yet. Then again, I mostly answer travel questions
Yahoo retains answer sections on some of their articles but it is still ridiculous. I wrote something totally positive about a certain athlete's contract, explaining how the structure gave the team far more cap space, and it was flagged for review, probably because I use the super common term "cap hit" to describe how much of the contract counts this year against the amount the team can spend. You'd think a sports section would understand the term, but it's Yahoo! so...
Yahoo Answers used to be my favorite. I still can't believe why it went out of order. I never made a login but I used to search answers on that site a lot. I think if it was still around I would have not come to Gag.
Reddit is pretty stupid and that system of one comment per 10 minutes. Utter time waste. So, I find Gag pretty decent and moderators here are active enough. Reddit messaging system and karma points is also so weird.
So, Gag is simple and pretty much devoid of the dark side of Reddit.
Yes, because you can ask about any random subject or life event and get good honest feedback, okay you get a lot of hate on here too admittedly but in the main you gain good knowledge and experience off the users. I've never used the other sites you've listed although I've been on Quora and Yahoo answers in the past when looking things up or browsing, and there all very formal questions, all very serious natured, and the answers usually kept brief and less of them. More opinions help you gain more knowledge and understanding of the general view.
G@G is more suitable for ultra personal questions to super beginner serious questions. I think.
Quora, on the other hand, does exceptionally well in professional guidance and other such answers.
I use Reddit for porn. 🤷 It is what it is. I won't even lie about it.
I use to like yahoo question and answers. But they pulled the plug
I do like gag i have seen many people come and
There are still a few of the first people who have been here for ever.
I still like gag because all the people here have basically , with there questions and answers have told us the story of who they are. And really could write a book about themselves
I really think there is a bigger picture about gag. And the people here
I look at it.. is one day depending what direction the politicians take us we will all need each other one day
Or maybe we all are headed to the same place and this is a lay over.
To answer your question I have to say yes because of the people
The good part about this site is how it's easy to find a wide range of questions on all kinds of topics. The thing that bothers me about Reddit is having to find and join tens or even hundreds of subreddits. But only a limited amount of questions will be something I can answer. The feed will be overcrowded with content. But I like the users more. It's more diverse too. And less censorship.
It all depends how you use them.
For example Reddit is bad if what you post is opinion based, because people may easily down-vote you, and that can result in an automatic ban.
But if you use it for sharing factual things, like questions or projects that you have been working with, the down-votes may help you on getting rid of trolls. Because people will down-vote them to hell.
Quora seems a little higher level of questions and responses but I haven’t investigated. I don’t care for Reddit 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah it is better in the question department but there is some toxicity there as well
Quora is better for serious questions and you will get good answers on there. GaG is more fun if you just like goofing around.
I never really got into Reddit. I didn't find it very user friendly at all.
Yea and the rating sub reddits are super stupid
I don't know what those are, but yeah.
I've yet to be told to kill myself, or someone hopes I get raped on Reddit - which is something I've gotten here in private.
So in my humble opinion, GaG is more toxic and there are top dogs on here who are condescending asf. 😅
Quora sucks and is hard to read.
reddits ok but i found the users there more hostile because its more anonymous there.
dont use any others to say
I like it. I tried Reddit but it wasn’t as much fun.
yea the fact you can see someone's xp level, sex, and age tells me enough to know the context of what they are saying. its so much more open and conversation friendly too without awful moderation
i checked out Redditt and it seemed way too big.
Yes; I do. It's a bit wild sometimes, but I can tolerate that because at least people are honest and speak their minds.
I like GaG but I was at the doctor and I tried to get on the WiFi and I couldn’t because they said GaG is pornography?
It is better than reddit.
I got temporary banned on reddit for political reasons. Mods here are better.
In a small sense yes this one divided into subject but also divided by gender.
Despite its issues, I prefer GAG. Reddit is like a toxic wasteland at times. Quora is filled with pseudointellectuals. Here we get some of that, but they are fairly easy to avoid. And there are a lot of helpful and nice people here.
I think gag is much better because at least unlike quora gag hasn't kicked me out yet for offending feminists.
Yahoo Answers was the best format, period. But the trolls ruined it.
Yes, except for some judgy people that get offended too easy
All of the Q/A sites are websites attempting to play god by changing public opinion. Deleting some and promoting others. These people aren't good people.
no this place sucks. there are no users because everybody is a weirdo and everyone rates people to highly
Lmaooo
Quora is better for serious discussions.
I've never tried other Q&A platforms before
Yes in my view. GAG is better.
yes u got a point there...
GaG is better
Yes.
yess
