Is Roblox childish?

Personally im prtty torn

ik its really stereotyped of being for 12 year olds and stuff but then there are also loads of genuinely really good games on it that definitely wouldn't recive that stereotype were it not on roblox

and then also i play roblox a bit - i play restaurant tycoon because i find it very relaxing but im not speaking to anybody on it or anything so yea

wow, you've sent me down memory lane... roblox nostalgia is something else. i used to be a huge nerd and played it a lot around 2014 - 2017 and it was a huge escape for me.

ROBLOX can be childish, but there are communities on there with teenagers/adults. they involve raids/wars between factions with roleplay and us talking on teamspeak or discord in raids. it was really fun. ik those communities are still around bc a few friends i met back then that i've kept in touch with will tell me about it. like here's a video from a group i was in back in my day and something that's recent one of those friends sent me

I enjoy it, and while it is intended for children, so are a bunch of other games that are popular. If it’s entertaining to you, why should someone else tell you what you can enjoy 🤷‍♀️


I do think, though, that if you are older playing the game, you should avoid the chats when possible. Kids are stupid, and they’ll say stuff you probably don’t need to interact with or put yourself at risk from.

I think it is mostly designed for younger kids, but also made to attract people of all ages at the sametime.
