By far the most dramatic advancement was the proliferation of smartphones, which have been both a blessing and a curse.

I do not use a landline. Most people I know who still do rely on it as a backup or specifically for certain things, such as utilities, exterminator services, etc.

I currently use an android, looking to replace it in the near-ish future.
