can't just be fordenomics of assembly lines…

They are way to complicated. No carburetors, no more timing lights. Everything is run by computer. When something goes wrong it is too complicated to fix yourself.
i know the modern cars are so boring , hardly any stand out from the crowd anymore
I mean not that the Delorean was a good car. But we could have some fun with fins and rumblers. If I used those terms correctly…

Designers don't know what to do with the gaping hole that would normally be a grille when it comes to electric 'cars'. That results in the ugliest shit imaginable. People are more interested in buying cars with the biggest dash tablet screen than cars with the best performances, resulting in lazy engineering. The good old roaring v10s and 12s are gone because of the climate cult, now all that remains is a noise similar to that of a washing machine. This also means that once gargantuan American muscle is turning into shitty Euro sportscars. Also, once small, light and affordable small European cars have gained weight, accumulated a bunch of idiotic and useless electronics and gotten absurdly expensive. Can't have cigarette lighter, but here's a dash screen that spans the entire width of a car and displays no useful info whatsoever. Now even the seats have electronic parts. Once you can't use, even if you've paid for them when you bought the car, cause now companies can charge you on the go, introducing DLC for the luxury of heated seats, I swear this was once just a 'imagine a car made by EA' joke. All the electronics has a habit of not working, and since it is electronic you won't be able to fix it yourself, and most mechanics won't be able to help either, have to go to a loicenced ones instead, getting ripped off.
They can be if you have the money.
But cars are a fucking danger, and after guns and appliances are a leading cause of death in communities. Therefore more regulation and standardisation means more safety protocols need to be adhered to.
Mine is although it's a truck. . . .
Get a Porsche. I have one. It's the most singular fun car I've ever driven and I'm driven many cars.
The EPA
Sorry, combination of the EPA and government safety regulations.
And our modern disposal everything society doesn’t help either
Some trucks still do have suicide doors, but realistically suicide doors disappeared because they didn’t work all that well
