Who has run a shop on here? Looking for advice?

This will be my first Etsy or eBay or Facebook store and I need all the advice and suggestions on How to run it and what help I'll need!

Not on prices supply or other things just the website guys!

Pick one first and don't spend too much at the outset. I see plenty of idiots spend thousands on sites and ad campaigns and fail within the first couple of months with debts.

There is no shame in starting basic and small. "Go big or go home" is for fuckwits spending daddies trust fund.

Do your research and see what platform is selling similar products to you. That will give you an idea what kind of quality and price point you're looking at. You would rather sell a 100 pieces a week and make a couple of bucks profit, than one piece now and then, at 10 bucks profit.

When you start getting regular customers and better analytics is when you start to raise prices, not before.

Great well any suggestions how to beat sell and advertise things?

I did mostly direct sales to police and fire departments and other first responders. It was mostly cultivation a customer base by delivering good service and responsive product lines.

What is the best site for it?
Is it hard do do multiple items on one page in colors?

id say the best site is ebay and mercari, ebay has really good security for example if the item arrives broken because it broke in the transportation, they will pay the buyer back for the item if it all checks out after their investigation.

and ebay has options for seller and quantity is part of those options, you could sell in quantities and in different colors, I've seen many people sell items in different colors with the same listing so i know the option is there, i did notice that buying in quantities tho, has to be the same color, sounds more of a buyers problem tho.

Our thing is more shapes then scents 😉. Every one here wants the old fashioned stick candles! Also candle holders but might need to make them from clay till latter

I don't know what that means but candles sell pretty well online, which it wasn't something i expected until i saw how quick they sell compared to some items that struggle to sell lol

i sell fragile items like decorations, porcelain, ceramics, bone china, and other things, its not really a huge seller but when they sell, they sell good lol

i dont advertise but ebay has an algorithm, if you post at least ones a day and are active i heard they put you in better spots as a seller, i should advertise and no lie your youtube idea is a good idea 😆👌
