Anyone here switched from Android to iPhone after having the former for a long time?

I know of two acquaintances of mine who switched from Android to iPhone and they both mentioned ease of use pertaining to the latter.

I had a Samsung and when it died on me I got an apple iPhone because my Samsung was not ergonomic and led to hand and finger pain with long term use. It was also terrible for my eyes because the type of lighting or screen lighting on the iPhone is different than what it is for Samsung. The iPhone is also a more trendy company that is culturally relevant. Will probably never use Samsung again. iPhones are better for your eyes and fingers, so if you can afford an iPhone or want to use your cell phone at night, I would not buy android again.

I did earlier this year. Everything transferred over easily. Even pictures in my text messages.

Customization and getting free ringtones is definitely better on android. Especially Clip board copy & paste. But iPhones aren’t bad.

Other way around. I used Apple for a decade and switched to Android.

I liked the iPhone.

I personally found android worlds easier to use and has the added benefit of connecting to everything Google. And I'm not chained into the iOS ecosystem.

Here is what I heard, people switched from Android to iPhone simply because Google likes to hog their phone with so many useless Apps, emails, ads, etc. But I have always been an Android user. I wonder if iPhone would be too hard for me to learn to use?

No. As that would be a downgrade. Your "friends" couldn't handle the freedom of Android.

I switched to iPhone for one generation and I didn't like it so I switched back I like my Google pixels
