What cameras besides phones are actually good?

Im thinking of trying to get into photography besides an old smart phone are any cameras actually decent or is a smartphone kinda just best anymore

Every camera, prosumer level up, from Canon, Nikon and Sony will produce better pictures than a phone. Just look at the size of the lenses. It’s simple physics how much more light is captured by a larger lens.
