I would save up. I have three cameras and my PANASONIC LUMIX G85 4K Mirrorless Camera takes great photos and 4K videos for everyday stuff. It was about $850 and I added some lenses to the mix.
I guess $850 sounds much better compared to $2000. Especially since I’m new to photography. Tysm
Absolutely, don't spend a lot of money on a camera until you know for sure it's something you're going to stick with and have time for.
Any camera for 100-200 bucks is going to be far worse than the one on your phone.
Then what’s a good one for beginners?
Your phone will likely beat out anything under $600, but then you have lenses to add on top of that, which will set you back a minimum of $200 for a decent one and much more for a good one. Decide what you want to shoot, then you can look at what type of lense you'll need. Telephoto, fisheye, 18/28/35mm... something else? The only thing you are legitimately going to need a stand alone camera for his high speed action without blur or extreme zoom. The faster processing chip on a camera will let you do burst shots of 10-12-20 shots in a row, but there's really no cause for an amateur photographer to need that.
Tank you so much!
*thank
Yeah absolutely! In larger cities you could always rent cameras and lenses (with a big security deposit) once you get more advanced if the cell phone no longer cuts it
If that's your budget then you better stick with your phone

I'd go with Sony these days, just for the lens selection, if you're looking to get into a system. They are the manufacturer which is most open to third party manufacturers. That means you don't have to buy expensive Sony lenses. Most third party manufacturers make great stuff too.
I bought a kodak pixpro az405 for my daughter. It is maybe no state of the art but makes nice pictures. I choose this one because it was one of the cheaper ones. Even compact camera are too expensive
Note is is a bit more money than 150
It is around 250. euros.. i checked.
It is extremely unlikely that anyone here knows, you would do much better to ask or simply read the forums in a photography specialised website.
I don't think good cameras come in that price range.
What’s a good price range?
And brand
The Nikon D850 DSLR camera is the best camera in my opinion, its not cheap, but its worth the price, and you might be able to get one cheaper if its second hand/used.
You can't buy much in that price range.
Any recommendations?
I saw a camera that was like 2,000+ I’m like…😬
