It's a double edged sword. There is certainly propaganda as well as toxic content.
But without it, we would have nothing but corporate media for a source of information.

I have connected with incredibly bright and informed people and found outstanding sources of information through the internet. My knowledge has grown exponentially. I have been introduced to information that I never would have come across if not for the internet.

The globalists who want to control the world and have already captured mainstream media have also captured the internet and social media giants to block, ban and censor information that they don't want getting out. But those ethical people who tell the truth at their own expense in an effort to help mankind, find ways to get their information out.

The internet makes if possible to access and share much more information than was available before it came into use. We no longer have to be programmed by the manufactured consensus of corporate media. But that also requires us to use our own powers of discernment and reason to deduce factual information from propaganda, bias, and mere opinion and supposition.

Even so-called "conspiracy theorists" (a dishonest pejorative) are merely fact checkers who question official narratives in search of truth. I think that's healthy.

So, I think the internet is positive overall, unless one gets sucked into unhealthy rabbit holes by fraudsters who have nefarious agendas.

There is, of course, the problem of young people using social media exclusively, continually and excessively as a means to communicate and receive validation instead of learning how to interact with real people in the real world.

Sure if you go searching for it. I've mostly had good experiences. I feel very safe and comfortable because I've been using the internet for a long time and I stay in my own lane of what interests me and the sites apps and servers I frequent and the people I meet and it's been very pleasant. Automatically because of the places you frequent and the interests you have etc. You're gonna meet people similar to you with similar interests. I've actually found it amazing how I've met people that I've had so much in common with and I could meet 100 people a day in my area and never even come close to this kind of connection. It's almost like magic tbh. So you have a lot of control over how your experience is going to look like.

You can also go to the dark web and look at the most fucked up things humans do.

It does take some maturity and mental stability to navigate the internet I guess but in itself it isn't a force that's pushing in a bad direction. There's just a bunch of fucked up people in the world that's all it really is and people who will do anything for attention and clout and money. But they would exist no matter what and the internet can also be used for so much good. So I see it in a positive light.

And the dark websites I wish I could just unsee. Try checking Reddit out, they have the bizarrest or the bizarre things. Example is of children being exposed to adult videos on a children's Cartoon sites, and many other things I just don't even want to say
