I never use the drive through but I had to get a prescription filled and my wife insisted I use the drive through window. It took twice as long and I had to back up and get out of my truck because the carrier is too low and I could not reach it.
I've been inside a bank maybe three times in 7 years. Drive through window only slightly more. Maybe a dozen but that's including if I'm going for other people. I'll do pharmacy drive up every few months, but usually I use that time to go in and get liquor and vitamins as well so I've one less stop to make. I've eaten at a place with a drive through twice in the past 3 years, so that doesn't really apply. Trying to think where else drive-thru windows exist. Guess I don't use them that much.
Outside of McDonalds/Burger King, we don’t have those. Germans actually do things by foot! That’s why we have far less obese people.

A few years ago, I used several of them every night! I'd walk up to the mall, almost 2 miles from my house, at 1:00 a. m. and scoop up any loose change at the drive through windows. McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Smell, Pizza Slut, and Eat `N' Puke. Then I'd check the check-out aisles at Giant Eagle for loose change. It's all I was living on, at the time.
People that drive trucks are always complaining about these things as if they should modify them specifically for the trucks. I used to drive drive-thru window at the pharmacy and also at Starbucks. I like it because it's convenient and I can sit in my car and listen to music while I wait.
Nope, I have zero patience plus Id always seem to end up in the slower line if it was a double one. I've become accustomed to ordering coffee online ahead of time walking in and picking up. So much quicker.
The thing about using the drive through is that enviably you never come home with what you ordered! AND THEY FRICKEN HAPPENS EVERY TIME.
It just happened to again today from Subway sandwiches. I ordered egg salad, extra avacado, balck olives. I got the avacado and olives, But NO FRICKEN EGG!!!
The receipt said "Veggie sandwich".
Or you order refried beans from Taco 🌮 Bell put no utinsil to eat them with.

I don't like those either. A lot of those times, the drinks were sitting there, 'you don't know how long the drinks were there, this one time, pulled up, and there were 8 cokes right at the window. Just different reasons, why I don't use drive through, like what you said and the atms. Much faster inside

Not really… maybe 2-3 times in my life time. I don’t do fast foods. I also don’t take prescription drugs.
I avoid doctors and bad foods..
The only drive-thru I need is for coffee. Most of the time I walk in, but sometimes I hit the drive-thru instead.

I haven't used drive though windows in years. I always go inside. I prefer to deal with people face to face without glass separating us.
I use the drive through at fast food restaurants, but not at drug stores, banks or anywhere else.
Only for to-go food that I'm taking home. I refuse to eat in my car (my sister does and her car looks like an EPA cleanup site) so if I'm on the road I'm going inside.
At some places I do, others no, I don't use them.
