Has Anyone Who Has Used Facebook a Long Time Ever Had this Issue?

***This is a Hard One that Has Never Happened to Me in 13 Years I Have Been on FB. My Friend put Me Back on FB. I Know this Girl is a Scammer and I Realized Last Night it Says "Mutual Friend"(With my Friend) Under her Pix with the LIKE She has Pressed with Pix of Me, etc. He Has on His FB page. Trouble IS, She is NOT in MY Own Friend List and her ADD BUTTON IS STILL SHOWN. Anyone Know What is Going on? I know this is a Catfish Scammer who even Ghosted Him. Any Help is Appreciated. I have had my FB account scammed at least three times. On the last one I have, I made some measures to put more security on it to make it harder for people to steal my name on it. Yes, my name has been taken by people in different parts, both in the states and in one country. All the pictures I had on those accounts are now gone, because I wasn't able to get my accounts back. It's funny how I have Tiktok as well--I rarely use Facebook, but I love Tiktok--and nothing has ever happened to me on Tiktok. There are no problems whatsoever. Sure, you have people posing as movie stars--but as long as you don't share information--you're fine. Unlike Facebook--where scammers can take over your account easily if you are not protected, and some scammers are now trying to talk you into buying crypto currencies.

Go call out the person for being a scammer and report them to Facebook. I seriously call them out publicly.

Sounds like you are publishing publicly. Or you tagged someone who she is friends with. If you didn't tag anyone check your post settings and see who can see and comment. If it is set to "public" you may want to change your default to only friends and following

Might just be a glitch, but if you see the "add friend" button maybe she unfriended you? It's hard to know, but I'm thinking that somehow you became unfriended.

Is just the AI involved with "mix'matching " people with "other people" it could be that your friend is friends with that person and you, so it kinda tries to "pump up" you list of friends.🤷‍♂️

If she didn't block you or set her "privacy" for individual, Yes, you can see her but you cannot add, sometimes FB works "against us", i know... xoxox

I don’t use Facebook, but there’s plenty of scams on every type of media even on Instagram I get follow request all the time from scammers but since it’s private, they can’t bother me

I have started and quickly shut down countless Fakebook accounts. I never could get into it, find it toxic, despise the entire concept and figure those who actually give a crap would make an effort to contact me in a way that means something.
