A question for minds greater then mine? Would the fire go out in the following situation?

Please assume the following facts. I built a campfire with an unlimited supply of firewood. The campfire is self loading and will never increase or decrease the current flame based on the firewood. The only variable is the temperature of the air around the fire will continuously decrease.
My question is.. will the fire eventually go out due to the decreased temperature?

Yes eventually the fire will no longer be able to maintain combustion. The ambient temperature will drop below the ability for the fire to overcome.

But as the temperature drops the fire will burn more intensely as the colder air is more dense. So it will burn more and more intensely until it reaches a peak and then diminish?

No if you look at say putting out a fire with water the water actually lowers the temperature to reduce the fire. Further this idea that it'll burn hotter is also not true. The cold reduces the fire

Yes, fire needs air fuel and heat. if you get rid of any of these you cannot support combustion.
