It's definitely a mixed bag. There is some toxic shit and total bullshit on social media. But at the same time, without social media, the only information we would have access to would be the echo chamber of corporate media mind control propaganda.

Through social media, I've been educated more in the last 15 years than in the previous 50 years. By connecting with super bright and extraordinarily informed people around the world, I have learned things that most people can't imagine. If not for social media, that would not be possible.

Social media has made the exchange of ideas more possible than ever before in history. And that frightens those who want to control others. It's why they are so frantic to censor thoughts on social media. That, in itself, should tell us why social media is so valuable. Informed people are harder to control. They are harder to bamboozle. And instant access to information can spread faster than wildfire.

Definitely negative. It is too bad that something that had so much promise to be a positive thing that would bring people together to be used as a tool to ridicule people and put toxic ideas out there. The is when it is not censoring conservative views and cancelling people.

I can tell you how it all works but have little use for it.
