When someone gives you a like on here, do you get notified by an alert?

It used to be that way. If someone taped the like - you would get a notification that USER liked your question or opinion. Not to brag, but I used to get a lot of them. Now I don't get any. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Ever since they changed from the emojis to the words like and dislike - that's when I stopped getting them. Should I keep giving likes if no one receives them anymore?

No. I have to keep checking under the bell to see if there's anything new. Most often, I have to click on it to actually get the new alerts.
I don't really bother much with likes, anyway. I already know who liked it in the alert so, there's no point in clicking on the alert to find out who it was.

I still get alerts for likes but I don’t see emojis

I use my cellphone 📱 to GaG. So it's probably different for the lucky people that have a computer.
The moderators must have done something so I don't receive my likes anymore. My alert us turned on because I can hear when someone left me an opinion. My phone makes that sound like you hear when you see something magical.

It might be something in your account settings because I still get notifications when people like my posts.

Hmm well you using a phone shouldn’t be the issue because I’m on my cell phone right now and I can see mine. Maybe ask an admin?
